Our 24-hour Crisis Management Centre (CMC) can provide immediate advice and assistance.

Experienced security consultants who have been recruited from senior police and military positions manage the CMC.

The CMC is multi-functional and is comprised of : the Client and Country Risk Analysis Team, Crisis Response Team, Negotiators Cell and the Operational Assistance and Communications Unit.

The CMC is designed to respond to the routine inquiries, as well as provide the critical support required to respond effectively to a serious incident.

Falcon International writes, conducts and assesses crisis management exercises on the basis of many years of practical experience. We have gained an unparalleled level of expertise in dealing with, preparing for and training others to handle incidents relating to criminal and terrorist activity, civil and natural disasters, major public disorder and ceremonial events.

As "outsiders" coming into a company , we find that the personnel who attend our training sessions or exercises tend to be more open, communicative and receptive than is sometimes the case with "in-house" trainers, security officers or human resources staff that they know and see regularly. Because of this, we are in a particularly advantageous position to assist the company to identify particular needs and potential difficulties.

A range of courses are available designed to prepare those in business to handle crises of all types.

The issues addressed include:

Does the company have a plan, is it fully comprehensive, is it understood, will it work if needed?

Who are the members, are they the right people, do they know what their individual roles are, and do they know the contents of the plan?

Who are the members, are they the right people, do they know what their individual roles are, and do they know the contents of the plan?

The crime of extortion by way of product contamination or kidnapping occurs on average once a week in the UK Would you know what to say and how to say it if someone made a demand for a large amount of company money not to carry out their threat?

If a company already has a crisis plan, the students should be those designated as members of the Crisis Management Team (CMT) and for negotiator training those employees identified in accordance with the attached profile as being suitable for this type of activity. If no plan exists, we can assist company personnel to prepare one. Participation in Crisis Management Training without a pre-existing crisis plan is not cost effective.

As part of the overall security planning strategy, it is important that businesses develop and maintain a policy document. FI will advise you and work with you on the preparation and updating of this definitive document, which should set out in detail the required security standards that must be adhered to by all personnel when carrying out their duties.

Not only will the establishment of such a policy document minimize risks in the workplace, to people and property, but the demonstration of concern for the well being of your employees can also have a very beneficial effect on morale and motivation.

Depending on the nature of your business, consideration should also be given to incorporating, within the policy document , standard security procedures that should be followed relating to specific issues, such as the storage and transportation of high-value goods.

Successful operations are dependent upon planning on every eventuality

Our extensive experience has prepared us to evaluate changing situations; to plan, adapt and react with vital contingency plans that match changes in your risk exposure. Although many risks can be averted or managed by having in place integral, regularly monitored security procedures, it is also imperative to plan for the unexpected. To this end, FI will work with the client, within an overall corporate security strategy, to formulate contingency plans to meet every eventuality, including emergency procedures and business recovery.

Unforeseen terrorist attacks resulting in destruction of property can have a seriously debilitating and costly impact on your business. It is, therefore, crucial to ensure that efficient business recovery procedures can be implemented with all possible speed. On short notice we can deploy operatives to provide, where necessary, additional protection for people and properties at risk. Whilst it is FI's aim to assist companies with the development and implementation of strategic security policies, utilizing intelligence sources and planning procedures, if a threat is immediate it is essential to respond with a fast, efficient solution.

Irrespective of location we can respond immediately, providing a crisis management team and on-the-ground operatives with direct experience and expertise to match any given crisis situation. In addition, we will work with you and your in-house crisis management team to formulate appropriate crisis response programs to cover anticipated risk areas. To this end, we will assess the effectiveness of a crisis management team's expertise and conduct realistic scenario crisis management team training where necessary.
